Formaldehyde Spill Kit

Formaldehyde Spill Kit is an absorbent / immobiliser element packaged as a spill kit. A 200gm bottle will absorb/immobilise up to 10 litres of FDH, so as a guideline 20-40 grams per litre spilt will be sufficient.

The FNC 2 Part system [950mL Base and 50mL activator] makes 1 litre. Note the 2 part system has a longer shelf life than the FNC pre activated so it’s ideal for use in kits.

Specification

 Neutralisation rates depend upon concentration so 1L combo of FNC2 will neutralise approximately; 

• 670mL of FDH 37%
• 2.5L of FDH @ 10%
• 5L of FDH @ 4%
• 4L of Neutral Buffered Formalin @ 4%

So; 2 x 1 FNC2 combos will neutralise 10L of FDH at 4% [most common concentration] and 1.5L at 37%.
