Tank Removal & Installation

Yellow Shield has launched a national scheme to provide for the decommissioning and disposal of old bulk storage tanks, installation of new tanks, and the recalibration of electric pumps.

The decommissioning and disposal will be carried out with full environmental and legal certification. The installation of the new tanks will provide for safe installation in compliance with environmental guidelines and connection to required services by a team of qualified professional engineers.

Professional Tank Decommissioning

We work closely with the local authorities and conduct a full site assessment before any work is conducted.

This will then involve:

• Stripping out pipework and preparing tanks to a "Gas Free" status.
• Transfer of tank and waste by licensed transport to licensed waste disposal and provide all necessary transfer notes and documentation.

Tank Installation

Installation of your tank involves:

• Preparation of a base if necessary.
• Connection to mains electricity if necessary.
• Installation of pump and pipework.
• Provision of spare and replacement parts.
• Calibration of the pump.
• Testing and commissioning.
